Rubix Square
A hyper-stimulating public space inside a residential area, anchored by a habitable three-storey cube inspired by the Rubik's Cube.
Rubix Square sits within a residential district and treats the neighbourhood plaza as a piece of play architecture rather than a landscaped void. The central sculpture is a three-storey inhabitable cube, colour-blocked like a Rubik's Cube, that can be climbed through as well as looked at.
Four further installations surround it and give the square a range of activities for different ages and group sizes: The Hashtag, Basket Triangle, Wall Ball and Heli-Skate.
